I wanted to inform everyone on this site that I have produced an index, both chronologically and by area of the Hikes of the Week Karen did for 13 years for the P-I. It's based on the hard copy articles from her archives and I'm making available to anyone who is interested. There is, of course, no charge for this. PM me and I'll send it along in an e-mail. The index runs about 30 pages so printing out hard copies I'll leave to you.
It's my pleasure. I wanted to do something as a tribute to her and this seemed a good start. She was in so many Pack and Paddles and Signposts, even some Mountaineer Bulletins that a full list would be really tough. As I think everyone on this site knew she was so deeply talented with words and a camera that to let that drift away is just wrong. She did a great deal of writing for the Visitrainer website as well. I'm having to take a break before starting on her poetry. Much of that goes back to the '70's but she never stopped writing that.
