Here's a helicopter rescue video clip that reminded me of the recent Mica Lake rescue of the PCT hiker. There was a similar situation with limited visibility and low fuel status. The pilots had been doing fire fight load drops and were tasked to do an immediate rescue of persons trapped on a ridge (some type of installation). It was difficult to find any room to land the helicopter due to the narrow profile of the ridge and the surrounding chapparal shrubs and trees. Plus most of the available space was either radio antennas, buildings or several vehicles. There are fires all over the hill tops. The pilot and co-pilot have to work together to find the best spot to touch down. They had to go down the ridgeline to find a clearing that barely fit. Meanwhile the air is filled with dense smoke and the flames are just in view heading towards them.
This is a sit on the edge of the seat video. ~z
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities
