I saw three of these guys at the trail-head to High Divide, on the Damfino lakes entrance side on Saturday. They were pecking around in the gravel collecting small twigs. Their wings made a loud flapping sound when they took flight.

It's an evening grosbeak, probably immature judging by the plumage. EDIT: Beat me to it Evergreen! doh.gif
