Looks interesting. My brother was stationed at Edwards AFB for several years. I know he did some hiking in the peaks near LA, not sure if he did this one. I've heard him mention Baden Powell and Old Baldy, those are in another range down there.

Hi Eric...miss you down here in Utah. San Jacinto is really a nice hike and I enjoyed your pics up.gif although I didn't have any snow to contend with when I did it. I was just down there last week to do some stuff near Julian and Escondido and the weather was terrific. Lots of traffic though on those winding backcountry roads. Weather here in Lehi has been hitting high 50's and even into the 60's. Not like a Utah winter at all. tongue.gif
