Thanks to Wildernessed for some beta; was good to get out to the east side!
Full photo set and gps on my blog.
We parked at the bottom of Potato Creek Road, ran up to 3700', went cross country up an easy ridge to meet the Mud Creek Rd at 5000', followed it to the SE base of Baldy, went up to the summit, postholed in deep snow on the north ridge, then got blasted by very strong winds as we headed out toward Stormy Mountain; turned around as the snow was too unconsolidated and ran the Mud Creek and Potato Creek roads all the way back down.

We were looking at Stormy from a loop we did on Jump off Ridge it was cool and windy most of the morning and early afternoon down there SE of Wenatchee. The snow depth really picked up North of Baldy ?

Yeah, on the north ridge going down to the road there was a lot of crotch-deep areas we had to almost roll out of.

The West weather really piles the snow up North of Baldy to the Pass, the road that hugs the ridge, and beyond. The views off Stormy are some of the best around and a clear day is really spectacular. An alpine start close in would really save you some work. You can run Mud Creek to Shady Pass to Saska Pass and beyond in the summer - fall there is no water once on the high ground except snow melt and some run off between Graham and Pyramid.

Yeah, we purposefully started right off Entiat River Rd to get in some more miles, but both Mud and Potato could be driven all the way up to the shoulder of Baldy where the snow starts.
Definitely hoping to get back in summer; probably try to go through Lake Creek Basin and do Four Mile, Stormy, Devil's Backbone, etc. Plus everything up north of there too
