Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

It does?? I feel like such a Dumas!
Why would they build two? Probably so they can pass...but it isn't a pass, it is a tunnel.

I read the article this morning and am not surprised. China's neighbors can't be to happy seeing what is happening.

My impression is that China is a tad bit drunk with its own power.

Very interesting article. China has the largest high-speed rail network in the world.

Don't know which mountain they pictured but it doesn't look like Everest. As for the tunnel, hopefully they won't hire Hitachi.

MAY build! Let's hope it doesn't happen. I'm sure India is just super excited by the prospect.

I think that photo is the south face of Pumori. Compare to this shot
The South face of Pumori (7161 m), with Kala Patthar (the small brown peak in front of it). Everest? Not so much
