Thirty years ago Dona and I with a few others crossed Chocolate Creek and went up along the south bank of same to the high country. There was sort of a trail up that side. I understand from George Winters that Chocolate Creek after 2003 had VERY high and steep banks.

Anything left of the Gamma ridge trail? Went up there some time ago and it was pretty cool... There used to be a trail up the ridge adjacent to Dusty creek as well. Bet that is long gone....
Ten years ago, that trail was brushy in the lower sections, and many blow downs in the upper sections. I still have fantasies of logging it out, but the wood is probably very dry. It would be a huge task.
