I have a show opening up at the Fountainhead gallery in Seattle ( Queen Anne) . It opens June 4 and runs for 3+ weeks. There are some camping/snowshoeing scenes in the group. http://www.fountainheadgallery.com/pages/artists/Ferguson_/Ferguson_06.2015_/Michael_Ferguson_Life's_Little_Dramas.html

Beautiful work, flatsqwerl. up.gif Some of your paintings are quite whimsical and evocative. Great colors especially in: Wait Up, River Bend Swim and Moose's Tooth. I imagine a lot of climbers would enjoy that one--Moose's Tooth. Congratulations on having a show. I hope you do well. ~z

I like the Snow Lake picture. up.gif up.gif up.gif

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

I just saw this show today and the art is excellent. These images look great online, but standing in front of them I was immediately struck by the luminous, almost electric quality of the paintings. Very nice work, flatsqwerl. up.gif The gallery is easily accessible from Hwy 99 just before you cross the Lake Washington Ship Canal bridge past Canlis Restaurant going north or just after you cross the bridge going south from Fremont. You go up the north side of Queen Anne to a nice, quiet neighborhood of turn of the century homes and big shady trees. Plenty of parking, cafes and a Macrina Bakery almost next door. The show runs through June 28 and the hours are 11 am until 6 pm, Thursday through Sunday. If you go on a weekday go early to avoid the rush hour traffic on 99. Midday it's a piece of cake. ~z
