Had a pleasant 2 night stay on Oyster Lake at Appleton Pass. Good weather, views, and isolation. Hard to beat it. http://aclayjar.blogspot.com/2015/06/appleton-pass.html

Having camped there last week, I can confirm that that photo is of Soleduck Park. I can make out my campsite, Heart Lake is just out of view. The whole basin was filled with thick smoke Wednesday morning, so I bailed on my climbing objective and hiked out.

Thanks for the confirmation. There was no smoke over the Soleduck by early Tuesday afternoon. It must have come in pretty quickly.
