I'm going to do a 4-7 day hike in the Pasayten in mid to late August (fires permitting). I need to start at the Billygoat Trailhead and go to the Fox Lakes on day one. After that it's up to negotiation. Corral? Hidden? Amphitheater? Cathedral? etc. I'm open. I have room in my rig for up to 3 others. Would like to have another rig at the extraction point (where ever it may be). Right now I'm very flexible on path.
A little about me, Male, 49, above average fitness level, & love to hike. I'm good for 20 miles per day but would prefer less so I can enjoy the sights.
If you have similar plans in August and aren't interested in backtracking, let me know.
Good call gnome, some of the trails in the old burn are not well maintained. I'm not against hopping over logs though, after hiking on the Westside for so many years, I feel privileged to have a trail at times.
There are still other outs, Andrews, Chewack, etc.
