My first thread here was locked. All that is required is for a few folks who strongly disagree with your thread topic opinion (supported by fact and science) to create a huge ruckus. If you respond emotionally, as i did, then chances are good that your free speach will be shut down. I learned my lesson here, don't start a thread.

Why do people always cry about "free speech" on privately owned forums?
Forums are like people's houses - the owners get to set limits on what they will tolerate. "Free speech" is nonexistent on private property.
If you want to carry on at length about a topic that you're passionate about but that may be controversial then you can always set up your own forum, blog, whatever.

Well that's an interesting question you pose. Maybe because this is a public forum on public bandwidth, but yes it is privately run. I still have to right to say anything i want, but the site has the right not to publish it. Kind of like newspapers and television. I should add that if i am doing the vendatta thing, i should get my thread removed and kicked off the site here and tay. Someday i may tell the story of a guys life i helped save at risk of my own, and that was after he almost killed us. i surely should have had a vendatta against that sucker, but i only wish him peace.
