That is why Brits are such avid Travelers. They are close to many places that do have sun. None of the people in those pics expected any sunshine. They knew better. It's fairly cheap to fly from the UK a little south to where its warm. Where they can fight with the German tourists for beach chairs.

In London they say that it's warmer down in Cornwall and there's a palm tree growing at Lands End. Yea well, there is a palm tree in San Francisco but it doesn't mean that it's warm in October.

It is interesting to compare Seattle's temperatures with those of San Francisco. San Francisco appears balmier.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.
