God I just love that statement. Having been near death while in the hospital, and living through it all I can tell you this. Id ALWAYS rather be ALIVE doing something I didnt like to do that being DEAD doing something I loved! bawl.gif

Yea I think the he died doing something he loved (note there is died in that sentence and loved is in the past tense) is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard personally.... To each their own I guess...

Just a guess here but I think the OP's intention was to share the information about the recent discovery. Thanks for sharing. I wonder how many other clues and evidence from "mysteries" will surface as glaciers and permanent snowfields continue to recede around the globe? To the trigger happy criticizers: the comment you are criticizing seemed to me an attempt to convey empathy, maybe even sympathy...certainly not something to be scorned.

Nature exists with a stark indifference to humans' situation.

A recent National Geographic magazine has an image of two WWI soldiers who had been frozen in the ice. They unfortunately did not die doing something they loved.

Hey, no disrespect meant to the Brushmeister. I just think that statement is hilarious.

this is how they found Otzi the Iceman. I wonder if there are people out in the Alps looking for more evidence of Neolitic peoples
