Kenji, Wow. Looking north, obviously . . . since it's the Northern Lights . . . I see the Big Dipper, center, near the horizon. I'm guessing it's over a period of one hour (e.g. from 1 AM to 2 AM)? That would mean it was really roaring for about 30 minutes (last half of the video). Thanks.

Aurora show on 9/29 AM, I think it lasted most of the morning hours. This is for about 2 hours w/ 400 shots. https://kenjikawai.smugmug.com/2016-09-27-Enchantments/i-NpwZb5f/A

At the end of August they were. Best viewed in silhouette.

Nice shots you guys! I got a text the other night at around 11:30pm from a friend in Juneau who said the Aurora were going berserk up there. I thought I'd better peak out the window and see if it was visible from the lower 48. It was faint but visible over the Pasayten. Here's a quick vid/GIF of about 90 images I put together from out my bedroom window the other night:

Nice shots David. I was up in BC the end of September but missed the best of the aurora opportunities by one day I think. The Easy Ridge aurora is pretty nice for this far south.
