Beyond tragic. How many more of these terrorist attacks must occur until we've had enough?

Best wishes to them.

100% agreed! My thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this tragic attack. Sad is putting it mildly.

I just came back from Paris. I've never felt so safe in a city as walking around Paris at night. I can understand how shocked the Parisians must be right now.

While I hold nothing in general against the French, and I certainly wish this crap hadnt happened to them. That said, Ive worked with them in and around Europe for many years and I WISH THEY WOULD LEARN TO BATHE!!!!

My thoughts are with the people in Paris. I hope that this doesn't do too much to stoke wildly reactionary politics there (or here), as that will only further fuel the terrorists (like feeding trolls).

tmatlack apparently Facebook has a feature during times like this where you can quickly punch in the answer to "ARE YOU OK?" Facebooks activates it automatically. Heard about it on the radio yesterday evening. If your cousin is on Facebook, you might check in

There is something a bit strange about a "Backpacker" complaining about the bathing habits (aroma) of others, but I suppose Joe normally BP's alone..

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Nous sommes toutes Francaise aujourd'hui. How much of this are we going to tolerate? I would particularly like to know what our Muslim brothers and sisters are going to do about it (actually, I am afraid of what they are going to do about it). If you have an interest in their dark problem, I suggest the works of Ibn Warraq.

Some people have better things to do with their lives than walking the dog. Some don't.
