Is it just me or is it unusually windy this year? It seems like we usually have just one or two good wind storms, but this year I have lost power, and rotton fence sections with every storm. Maybe it is just me and I never paid attention before because I never had a place to care about. All I know is it is really starting to get on my nerves. Of all the different weather around here, I hate the wind the most. It is just plain annoying to me.

Wait, there is a 6am?!?!

Power is still out. And I just received word that a neighbor's tree fell in to the yard. Fortunately it missed anything of value. The neighbor called the landlord rental company and they said they can have someone out in a week to repair the fence.... Oh joy. *Bleeping* wind... I will definitely keep Tri Cities off my list hehe

Wait, there is a 6am?!?!

Seems about normal for this time of the year to me. My power was out for a few hours this afternoon; for how long I am not sure, because it was out before I got home from work. The big windstorm at the end of August, now I'd have to say that was unusual for that time of the year.

If you once forfeit the confidence of your fellow citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem. - Lincoln

No power outage, but all day long it was raining buckets sideways. Unfortunately I had to drive and conditions were so bad it took an hour to complete a normally 30 minute drive! Either there was so much water on the road you couldn't see the lines, or there was no water on the road because it was being hurled about by the howling wind!

I am glad many folks escaped the wind unscathed and I was one of the lucky. Unfortunately the wind event yesterday in Spokane was far from normal. At least 2 folks lost their lives due to falling trees, approximately 63% of Avista's customers in the area are without power. Many homes were damaged. http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2015/nov/17/windstorm-pummels-spokane-killing-two-people-and-c/

Nature exists with a stark indifference to humans' situation.

Power at my house got knocked out two different times this summer, I'd say that was unusual. Fortunately didn't lose power yesterday. For all the talk about the wind, I'm surprised to see no mention of flooding. Looks like just about every river in Western Washington is at flood stage. Snohomish County got hammered yesterday.

Our power was out from about 1:15pm to 4:30am. A second tree fell when the wife was outside with the dog going pee, the dog not her wink.gif Scared the crap out of her. She called me home from work and as soon as I got home, she went to bed.... Thanks baby smile.gif Scared the neighbors pretty good so they all left and went to a bar for a while. When they got back I went over and hung out with them. Fortunately the 2nd tree landed on top of a stump and didn't hit anything, not even the fence. I've got lots of firewood now. Hopefully everyone on here is ok. I heard there was one man killed around Monroe when a tree landed on his car. Lots of power out and trees and branches down everywhere.

Wait, there is a 6am?!?!

Is there a webcam on Snoqualmie Falls? Or photos from current flood?
