I wonder if they hung their food properly? This would never happen in Scotland. Great story for back home. http://www.570news.com/2015/12/02/scottish-climber-lives-to-tell-tale-of-attack-by-grizzly-in-the-rockies/

How the heck could anyone pry apart a grizzly's jaw? Seems more likely that the grizzly voluntarily opened his jaw...

Of course not. There are no wild grizzlies in Scotland.

Maybe bear didn't like being poked back in any manner. Wolves and bears? Scotland had a big controversy half a dozen years ago about reintroducing beavers. Seems that when the HBC was traveling across the Atlantic the locals killed all the beavers in Britain. Rumors were that beavers would eat all the young salmon and trout. Also salmon wouldn't rear where beavers were. I guess memories don't last three hundred years. See Scottish Beaver Trials.

Keep Calm and Carry On? Heck No. Stay Excited and Get Outside!

That is one epic adventure! eek.gif
