Man plans for Everest summit when 90

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

The guy is a legend -- He was the first person to ski (some say fall) down Mt Everest and he summitted at age 70, at age 75 and then again at age 80.

That's amazing to do Everest at 80, too bad he never did K2, the oldest to to summit there is 65.

Oh I get it, but shouldnt we call this "Death Wish 2016"?

No big deal, Everest is a walk up, lol. Seems kind of pointless to climb the same mountain 4 times, especially given the large permit cost and overall expense, there are so many other cool peaks out there to bag and less crowded than Everest. Still, an amazing feat!

Everest a "walk up" ??? hahaha I bet you're kidding, right? I also would bet that most of us here have done certain peaks more than once. Mountains change constantly...so never boring to those who have open eyes and minds and see these changes. This guy is inspiring in that he is still trying to do his best at the things he loves to do.

Nature exists with a stark indifference to humans' situation.

Of course I was joking, but as I said given the huge expense it takes just to get to base camp, one would think he would have wanted to experience other big Himalayan mountains. But, to each their own.
