After seeing the previous report, I am convinced it is time. I'm looking for anyone interested in a really long day trek to the top of Mt Lena. So far, myself and possibly two others would be bringing skis and a snowboard to the top. Planning on an alpine start in the early hours of Sunday January 24th and passing Lower Lena just as the sun comes up. From there, should be a nice snowshoe trek to Upper Lena and Mt Lena.

We were so close. Mt Lena was an ambitious choice for a day trek and today was going great as far as timing was concerned. The problem was the recent snow in the past few days and pretty varied snow conditions on the way up. It was worth the second try though. I'm thinking about doing it as an overnight, which is what I should have done before. Probably first weekend of March
Thankful for any info on trail conditions heading up to the Brothers as I'm planning to summit late April. Let me know what things look like snow-wise when you guys make it back! Thank you!!
