Just a quick PSA - Warrior Quick Stop has an outpost in North Bend now. Gas prices at their North Bend Truck Stop (Exit 34) are really nice at the moment (2.88 cash). So if you are heading east on I90 for a hike, Exit 34 has cheap gas.

I am near Oak Harbor at the moment. Maybe I will run over there in the morning since the kids tend to sleep in when we're camping.

Even better than Cle Elm. That used to be my "cheap" stop.
Gasbuddy say's it's $2.91 at the Warrier on Cle Elm.
Of course I think it's $2.88 at the Sam's Club in Renton (not that I have a membership)...

Thanks for the heads up on that!
On a related note, it is frustrating to see oil prices on a long, steady downward trend, hitting very low territory- while we see gas prices every few days RISING at least here in the Seattle area. Anybody know honestly why that is? I heard about California and their rising prices due to a shortage of some chemical they use to make their California blend during the refining process- is that an issue for us, too? At the price oil is on the market right now, we should be down closer to $2 per gallon like we were this last winter- instead I see most stations up around $3.15- $3.25.

$2.19 a gallon at the Shelton Arco I've not seen it as high as $2.88 in quite a while.

Holding steady at $2.57 for literally a couple months now in Bothell at several stations. Not budging even a cent while oil prices have plummeted during that time.
