I'm planning on hiking Mt. Adams but not until the end of July. I'm in poor shape right now and fighting Bartonellosis so I won't be ready by early summer.
I'm flying to Tacoma the end of April and will be there until the first week of August. So... if you feel a second climb of Mt. Adams is on your agenda I'd be happy to have an experienced companion.
I would like to climb Rainier for my 50th birthday. I'll be 47 in June so I have a couple years to plan.
BTW, I'm a 46 year old woman in southern Michigan.
I can't wait to see the Cascades once again.
I've been thinking of doing Adams again.
I did it back in the 1990's when I was mountain fit.
Now nearing my 50's I'm couch fit.
Thinking July or August and get my hiker legs back.....
