Ironically I was just going to start a thread asking if anyone owns an RV and what the pluses and minuses are for owning one. Maybe I should start a new thread. Looking at buying some land and figured this would be a quick way to have 'housing' on it while I build. That or put up a kit log cabin. Thoughts?
I had an RV for a few years. Just remember that an RV is basically a house on wheels. So it can have all the same maintenance/fixing issues that a house can have--sometimes more, because most RV's are built using cheaper materials than houses. Also, when something is bouncing around while going down the road, things can break because of that as well. If you buy an RV, make sure you also have the money to fix it when stuff starts breaking.
