I am probably going to try the Manastash lake trail, near Ellensburg on Saturday before it gets too hot and buggy over here. I will be fishing so I will be bringing a fairly big pack, but hopefully not walking too slow. Taneum lake is also in the area. I didn't even know it was a lake until I saw the Manastash ridge trip report the other day, but apparently that one's only about a mile. If anyone is up for a hike in the area let me know.

I just did this hike last week. Conditions are good, no snow to speak of. Road in is clear but beware of rocks: you may have to move a few.
