Climb Mount Hinman via Salmon La Sac. Actually try summit was little a side.

Up to Williams Lake trails in pretty good conditions. Chain Lakes, La Bohn Gap - amazing as usually.

Nice trip! That's a long day.

Judging from your conditions and the WTA report, I think you meant July in the title, right?

It's always impressive what you can pull off in a single day.

I like seeing that Chain Lakes are still snowed well in to July. That was not the case last year.

Were the two routes around Lake Ivanhoe equally maintained? Brush free?

On the map trail go on west (left) side of the lake. But when we go to Hinman we didn't find this trail and follow pretty good trail on east side (right).

Apparently bridge for crossing to left side is broken now and you should use log (not far from broken bridge). If you use right trail you go around lake and should cross small creek/waterfall. On left side - use log to cross Waptus river.

Both trail easy to follow and no bushes.
