Sedell’s and Mazer’s Forest to Sea is a good read. The idea that rivers as big and powerful at flood stage as the Skagit, Snohomish and Willamette had persistent bank to bank log jams was hard to envision.

Keep Calm and Carry On? Heck No. Stay Excited and Get Outside!
