GaliWalker, thank you so much for sharing this journey with us! An amazing story with equally amazing photography. Stunning, nerve wracking, thrilling all at once. Love the porter portraits. And so glad your foot was healed for this awesome trip. up.gif up.gif up.gif

Those are some amazing shots, especially considering they missed the cut initially. eek.gif Did you get sensory overload on this trip, being surrounded by such jaw dropping scenery constantly?

Nope... hockeygrin.gif ...but I'm getting a dose of sensory deprivation right about now. embarassedlaugh.gif

What an amazing trip and TR, Gali! The number of perfectly composed, captured and processed images is staggering and is almost as awe-inspiring as the terrain you traversed. Your narrative is lively and engaging, and I especially appreciate what you share in writing and photographically about the people who were with you on this trip. This TR has to represent a huge amount of time and effort on your part. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us.

I started dreaming about it and preparing for it last winter, maybe about the same time as you for your Greenland trip. agree.gif

Man, here I'm just starting to research the logistics of going to Greenland and you go and post this and now I have to research Pakistan too. You're cruel.

I'd say July is the best time; the crevasses start to widen if you wait longer.
