Being from Colorado, we have the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Summit County, and of course all the other great areas. As we've hiked extensively in the Alpine Lakes as of late, we realize that there are indeed, many lakes.
Josephine stood out: http://www.protrails.com/gallery/724/
Look out Hood River Oregon, here we come...
Also, check out our Alpine Lakes section, we grew it quite a bit this year including that amazing day hike (toughest of my life) through the Enchantments: http://www.protrails.com/area/81
Enjoy and Word Up.

Very nice photos of Lake Josephine, the headwaters of Icicle Creek. I went up there yesterday with two friends who had never seen her before and they had a wonderful time eating ripe berries and enjoying the views. It was interesting to see the new snow in the nearby Chiwaukum Range as well. Fall colors are at their best right now.
