Exped is kind of "off the map" in terms of main stream tents..Not many people we know have heard of them....I think Exped is one of the best tent makers, so does my wife. This Carina Tent is excellent: Roomy, cheerful, great large vestibules for pack and boots, and rainy weather. Two vents on the rain fly, lots of adjustable tie-outs. Good balance of bug netting and fabric. Stout floor fabric. Poles run through sleeves for added stability. Easy to pitch.
If we had room we'd keep this tent, but our gear closet is overflowing, got to clean out some items!

It is definitely not super light weight.
Minimum Trail Weight: 4.7 lbs (tent inner, rain fly, and poles)
However, the materials are very stout, this tent is going to last!
Also, if split between two people the weight and size of the load to carry is quite good per/person!
