the park superintendent made a pledge to restrict for-profit use to the same level of access as the general public. However, the guided group that died on the Liberty Ridge avalanche two years ago was also given preferential access, being allowed to drive through the locked gate at the park entrance on 410, and on to White River, rather than walking in from the gate.
This practice is still going on....IMG had access to White River this year when the roads were still closed; I took this photo on May 16 after biking in.
So are any of you gents concerned about the actual sexual harassment, or more concerned about a real estate transaction and that the harassment is another way to dig at NPS for past wrongs? Seems it's unfair to point fingers at NPS and say they're not doing enough about the sexual harassment while this thread isn't concerned about it either. Please don't use a woman's plight to grind an ax about something unrelated.
What Kim said. Ski and Randy, your back and forth on the real estate crap is the absolute definition of pedantic, not to mention thread hijacking. Most of us probably don't give a damn.
This site has a PM option. Maybe next time you could actually use it?
