I'm heading in there for a nice adventure on the good weather day. Brushy perhaps but fun route finding. Anyone care to join me ? I'm a 57 year old guy. 57 year old speed. I'm coming from Tacoma - meet in N Bend. PM me if interested.

I dunno about riding back there at Hansen. My 26'er with Fox fork probably would be better than my rigid bike. The lower trail has is more frequently used and has nice flow. Yeah, or on foot. Paperboy would be a brush bash. From the MF side, right? Not sure of the recent beta on if brush has been cleared. Was a decommissioned road, part of it. Maybe has been converted to trail by now? How far? Gaining the ridge was suggested by someone to me once. I can only do weekends but am off early in the am Friday mornings.

Yes, from the MF. Its been a couple years since I've been in to Blethen Lakes. I'm assuming the worst, brush-wise. The trick will be to hit the lowest open scree field and link those up. I'm in the mood for brush now...sun will be out...it'll be fun. But no takers! hahah..oh well.
