Hit the Trail, Steve, and I made a quick day hike up to the East summit of Twin Peaks in a narrow weather window. We had mostly sunny conditions inside the valley, but just outside it was fairly overcast and blustery. Nice lunch on the summit and good exercise. Maybe a 1/4 inch of snow in places.

Unsettled weather all around us but fairly good conditions on the hike. We even had a big dog join us at the TH and give us an escort to the top and back. All he ask was that we share our lunch with him. He scored the cheese out of Wildernessed's sandwich but didn't like my fig newton. It was good to get out with these two after missing a few of their epic trips to the Pasayten (because I thought the pace would be a bit too epic for my ailing body extremities). Good company as always. up.gif
