I am going into the specialty manufacturing niche. I will make the perfect backpackers all-in-one multipurpose shock proof water proof fool proof low cost maintenance free unit. It will be the only item you will ever need. It will contain the following; Mobile phone connects to satellite, cell tower, landline, underwater cable, rf frequency capable (vlf,lf,mf,hf,uhf, vhf, ehf, shf and subspace). Time of day in all time zones. You will never be out of touch again. GPS voice activated autolocator, includes instantaneous mapping, direction finding, weather conditions, altitude and as an option scanning capabilities for locating, people, animals. Emergency beacon with triangulation, voice, self help (includes medical kit). On the reverside with be: cool to the touch heating unit. You will no longer need to worry about cooking,(will boil 8 oz water in 3 minutes anywhere), heating your tent, warming your hands/feet. Will not produce any harmful by-products. Optional water purification/testing. Will also contain 3d camera(front and back) for photographing scenic views and those memorable moments. Charges by movement, just shake to charge the unit(never needs batteries) Did I leave anything out? If so please email me at Doyoureallyneedallthis@outdoorsexperience.net

Be sure to make it in women's models, since women are not just shaped like small men. Preferred colors: robin's egg blue, sunset mauve, teal with purple trim.

No robin's egg blue, no buy, sorry!

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

Storm is a-coming. Beam me up Scotty, I'll beam back down and finish the route after the storm passes. And have the Replicator make me some hot stew, venison-burgundy please.

I'll wait for next year's updated version that includes a flashlight and a fold-out spork. I'd also like IR communication so I could control my TV set as well.

While you're at it, how about including one of those gizmos Dr. Beverly Crusher uses to heal injuries? This would eliminate the need to call out SAR and to have to carry those other emergency notification gizmos.

Basics were implied by refrigeration. 4 x beer. And AlpineRose. I noticed some time ago that women are not smaller men. And that men are not larger women.
