The last ski trip of 2016 was with my oldest and the youngest (Aki, the dog) daughters to Kendall Knob off the I90 Snoq Central exit. A couple with a baby and three dogs were leaving as we arrived. For the rest of the day, we did not see any body. It was a nice calm day w/ broken clouds and some sunshine. It's been many yeas and the forest seems much taller and denser making skiing a bit challenging especially the lower half. The snow higher up was deep and soft except some rain/sun crust from a day earlier.
Oldest and youngest racing uphill
Skiing was good higher then soft breakable, Aki struggled a bit:
Very pleasant day out, it's been a few years for Hana.
The descent was got challenging as the trees got tight and the snow crustier, we made back to the car right after the sunset. more pics here.
