In a part of France, stilts were once a common sight

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Who need crocs for stream crossing when you can get some high tech carbon fiber stilts. Work great for those muddy sections of the trails as well. Probably just the ticket for propping up the ends of your tarp. Coming soon to an REI store near you....
