Suggestions on best hike to see bears this spring. Enchanted valley almost seems guaranteed during mid late May. Other less popular or populated destinations?

Elwha Basin. 7/1 in a common snow year, i.e., snow 2-3 ft and spotty at Low Divide. They dig up some kind of roots early in the season. And it's flat out gorgeous place to be that time of year. After you cross the creek (Elwha River) there is a brush jungle for a ways. I don't know if it's been cut out lately. Most people just hike straight through. Best places on the through hike are all side trips.

Keep Calm and Carry On? Heck No. Stay Excited and Get Outside!

Bears seem to be prevalent in the Spray Park area. I've encountered them on several occasions out there, and literally almost tripped onto one as I was jogging back to the trailhead.

Hoh River Trail near Olympus Guard Station and Lewis Meadow lots of big bears. If you see carcass of Elk stay away.
