Hi Everyone ...
My brother, Snowbrushy, aka David Richardson, passed away last night here in Olympia where he had been living for the past several months. I know that he had been involved with nwhikers for many years and I know that he hasn't been on line for several months. I wanted to let folks know that he is no longer with us. My husband and I will be spreading his ashes at Snowbrushy Creek sometime this Spring.

Sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are with your family. His posts were always interesting.
If you are referring to the Snowbrushy Creek up the Entiat the main valley trail has been closed for a couple years and may or may not be open this summer (even for hiking). You can get to upper Snowbrushy Creek via the Big Hill TH off Shady Pass but that is a much longer hike and you would have to wait until later in the summer. But, I can't think of a better final resting place for him.
