as soon as i saw the map, i suspected there could be some issues for a winter trip. sharp Vs like that give me pause for winter, either because of cliffs/rockbands or cornice potential. the sunrise lake approach looks doable.

As for MSRs, my lightnings are showing signs of tearing after one or two rockier than I would have liked stream crossings with them on (should have just taken them off but it's a time consumer). Glad to hear they do such great repairs! I didn't even know they had a shop downtown... .
