Looking for info on who owns one of my favorite hiking zone, but can't get much from Google. Only multiple stories of murder and body dumping at Reiter pits... It's the property on the north east corner of Reiter and highway 2. I read a while back about them building a secondary school for the sultan district. All I can find is the board meeting minutes from a dozen years ago. The property is bordered by highway 2/ Reiter/ the skykomish, and Skyland ranch. Would like to know who's property I have been hiking on. Is it owner by the school district still? Nothing special, but I can make it down to the skykomish river in twenty minutes without any roads or people. Cool to feel like I'm hiking without having to drive.. Nice little Eddy to toss sticks in for the dog.

Sweet! Thanks. Yup, that's the one! I'll have to check on the others I pass through. Looks like I go through three large areas, and probably a utility easement, and eventually onto the abandoned BNSF grade.
