Independent of current snow situation, they officially closed the road this year due to Franklin Falls madness. I haven't seen anybody report yet that they've removed the barrier.
OK, thanks. Too bad, but not surprised. Prolly a good call. Guess we'll get there butt early, park in the Granite Mtn TH lot and enjoy a madness free stroll!
Often the distance you can drive up a snowy road in a vehicle not built for such is (1/2)x(1/age)x(1/blood alcohol level).
Notice that the first factor is (1/2). This denotes that the subject(s) will be able to drive one-half the total needed, upon which they will expend (E*10) effort trying to dick said stuck car out of the snow and then walk their drunk butts back to where they can be picked up by (dad, GF, Mom, sis)
