As for me, I think I'd trust GB even over NWAC. Gary's is OLD. He got that way by being a very good analyst of avy conditions, with a huge amount of time in high avy conditions.

Although the worst was Sunday through Tuesday, the snowpack at higher elevations is still not as consolidated as it might be this time of year (which is not on average great anyway). Expect sloppy snow with the relatively high freezing levels and avalanche risk depending on freeze, elevation, location, and aspect. Check the NWAC website for the normal spring bulletin.

Should have been deep doo-doo especially today. Baker has had two nights with lows in the low 60's and a high of 76. Paradise hit 80 today. Both of these are warmer than the mush making weather of a few days ago. The freezing level, however is about 500' lower than then.
