If the article is correct, after avoidance, early removal is the key to avoiding problems. Time matters with ticks. Not the same as a venom injection from snakes or some insects for example.

Ive spent a bunch of time working in the North East. I sure am glad we dont have to worry about Lime disease like people do there.

There is still a real possibility of contracting Lyme Disease in our region...it has already happened.
