anyway seen them on amazon...75-95$...looks decent..and if you cut the baffels, and overstuff with 65$ of down it should be a great bag! ..the down I get at downworks by greenlake..11 oz.
so for a total of 170$ you may have a good bag!
It "could" be a great bag, if you assume:
* it's actually made with the quality of down they claim
* the baffle design distributes the down to avoid cold spots
* the shell is durable enough to keep the down inside
I'm not claiming that it fails in any of those respects, but I'm also not sure how you verify (especially before seeing it in real life).

If you have a postal-scale, I'd be curious if the fill is even close to the 800 advertised.
800 fill is 800 cubic inches per ounce. If you weighed a container (32 Ounce Nalgene) empty, and then filled it loosely to the 32 ounces.
32 Ounces is 57.75 Cubic Inches
800 fill down should weigh (57.5/800) = 0.7 Ounces or 19.8 grams extra.

There are some reviews of the Aegis bags on reddit. The major flaw seems to be that the fabric is not very breathable. One person stated that this was improved by washing the bag. Other than that they seem to be a good deal.
I can post a link to the reddit review if that's allowed here.
