If you're interested there are halfway decent steps, as of today.
Also, leave the Ira Springs trail thirty yards west of where I did. You'll avoid some blowdown in the first 1/4 mile.

My hunch on conditions paid off and I was able to stay in crampons from Ira Springs to the top.
Much more snow on the east side. Needed to switch to snowshoes coming down.
Btw, the slight cornice at the top had formed from the north, opposite from usual.
