Anyone have recent info re conditions of the Fire Creek trail from Meadow Mtn and the White Chuck road walk?

Nothing on the Fire Creek Trail, but I did hike the White Chuck Road a month ago.
Can you say 'blowdowns'?
Many, many blowdowns; mainly near the start of the old road. And a hundred yards past the start of the actual trail at the end of the road, some sort of micro-burst of wind made a massive jumble of trees directly across the trail. But some creative soul created and blazed a path from the trailhead sign that skirted this mess and met back up onto the real trail.
The road is not too bad of a walk:
overgrown decommissioned White Chuck road
the beginning of the trail:
This effectively stopped our progress.
Didn't even attempt to clamber over the mess:

Hmm, by the looks of that, I might need to get someone a bit more dull in the head than Jim to go in Meadow Mtn & out White Chuck. Did that back in 2007 or 8 and it wasn’t too bad.
I don’t think I can do a 2nd successful fast-pitch to Jim on this trip; last time it worked. But he’s a lot smarter than he looks, sometimes, which can be deceiving. Never knowing if he’s going to be dumb about something or smart – he’s not consistent - is annoying as hell, if you want to know the truth.

That is laid out beautifully compared to most blowdown areas. Looks fairly easy to cut out for somebody who knows how.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

Thanks for the info...now I can squash the plan of seeing how far I could get on the old road with my motorcycle.
