Hi everybody -- Anyone know (or have spidey sense) if Chain and La Bohn Lakes are melted out yet? These have been on my list a while and was thinking about heading up from Williams Lake sometime in the next week or so. Should probably just wait another month, but I'm itching to go. Thanks!

I was there yesterday. Except for the lowest La Bohn Lake, all lakes still have snow floating around (but are not 100% covered). The highest La Bohn Lake is >50% snow-covered. It's a beautiful time to go: I think these lakes are much prettier with some snow smile.gif. I'll post a report later today, just need to sort out pics. I went in via Necklace Valley and the waterfall route, which is snow-free.

Report: https://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1100279 . It probably gives a good impression of the lake conditions, but just let me know if you have any questions (I didn't come in via Williams though). Hope you have a nice trip!
