Would love to know the final route you ended up taking, lakes visited, etc. What did you fool that golden with? Fly, spinner..?

Same lure I have used in Montana, Idaho, California, Oregon and Wyoming. A modified (1 Hook only) barbless Brown Rooster tail with a gold blade.
