Likely bogus.
Was posted today on a Facebook account in the Okanogan, and several folks made observations like;
- not sure it is even a griz.
- no where around Conconully is it that green right now, nor has it been for months.
- at least 4 people said they had seen exact same picture, recently attributed to different states.

I was in the area last Sunday, so I drove up to the posted coordinates. ( may have been a joke for a wild goose chase as that road sucks!!!! )
The grass and weeds are much, much taller than in the posted picture. And there's no "buttercups" or whatever those yellow flowers are. It's also much greener than I would have thought. Even along the top of the Loup Loup there is a lot of green color in the grass.
No where around the posted coordinates were any spots with grass/weeds this short.

The coordinates are about 4 to 5 air miles from Conconully. To me that's "near". To others, maybe not.
Here's the pic. 9-10-17 just before 7. No way the grass grew that much in a week!

The flowers look like they might be Western Goat's Beard which according to this link blooms in the May-July time period so the claimed date appears questionable.

The area in the background looks to me to be a dead ringer for the general character of terrain in the original photo in the link above. The nature of the grass (green vs. brown, short vs. long) varies over any region, even over what is shown in the second photo above.
The only thing that would make me doubt the integrity of the original photo is the rarity of the event, but I've read nothing posted anywhere that offers any credible evidence that the OP's photo is not accurate, as to location or date.
