Hey just thought of a good one for November: Carbon River Road walk and maybe up to Green Lake- north side of MRNP. Can usually be done any time of year. (Trail to Green Lake might be sketchy if we get a lot of snow.) Enormous Douglas Fir right at the bottom end of the road. Long drive from Seattle, though - only one way in and only one way out.
