I wasn't here when she did the book but I know she appreciated all the help she got from anyone. Utah State University approached me last year about her archives. They are building a resource library of Western poets and outdoor writers. I shipped them 17 banker boxes of her work and reference materials. They were pretty overwhelmed at the amount so haven't finished compiling it all yet. Someday, that'll all be available on line but they have a lot of work to do.
Bird In Hand -- I'm happy to hear her material went somewhere so it will be accessible to others eventually. I've spent some very interesting hours at the Special Collections library looking through the archives of some well known hikers and climbers.
Thanks Puzzlr. I offered it to the UW, and CWU here but got no interest.
She'd be embarrassed by the accolades as she often thought few people knew or remembered her. How wrong she was.
