I got my tour in to the top of chair 2 this weekend and it seemed like most of the Seattle ski touring crowd did, too. Last night's snow turned to rain around midnight and it looks like it's gonna stay that way for a bit. Typical...

I see that Stevens is closed today through Thursday due to a load of pineapples. Baker is apparently open and reporting rain and 40° at 4200'. Kinda expensive for them to be running the lifts with maybe 3 skiers and 7 boarders or whatever. rolleyes.gif But that's no skin off my nose, to use a very old expression....well OK, I am very old.. lol.gif My first year skiing Baker, their two chairs and several high speed ropes cost $3.75/day for the ticket.

Passing rocks and trees like they were standing still
